
OKC Broadway (Oklahoma City, OK) has announced the 2022-2023 Season, which includes Disney’s Frozen and the return of Hamilton.

The 2022-23 season has an incredible number of award-winning hits— from epic blockbusters and brand new musicals to beloved revivals. We are also able to bring back the shows most-requested by our patrons. There is truly something for everyone, and we’re so excited.” said Elizabeth Gray, General Manager of OKC Broadway and Executive Director of the Civic Center Foundation.
The season will begin with toe-tapping, exhilarating fun in the musical comedy phenomenon Hairspray featuring Andrew Levitt (aka Nina West) as “Edna Turnblad,” and continue with the 2019 Tony Award® and 2020 Grammy®-winning Best Musical Hadestown , followed by the laugh-out-loud love letter to theatre Tootsie. Then, the 50thAnniversary production of the iconic musical revival Jesus Christ Superstar comes to the Civic Center Music Hall followed by Disney’s Frozen, featuring the songs you know and love from the movie plus brand new music written specifically for this spectacular production! The season is rounded out by the return of Hamilton.
In addition to this epic six-show package, renewing and new subscribers may choose to add on these sensational season specials – back by popular demand—Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cats and the winner of 9 Tony Awards®, including Best Musical – The Book of Mormon.
