- The Who’s TOMMY is a story that includes depictions of bullying, substance abuse and scenes of war. This production includes loud music, multiple gunshots, theatrical haze, as well as strobe and flashing light effects.
Based on The Who’s iconic 1969 concept album and subsequent 1975 film adaptation, TOMMY is the story of a boy who is traumatized into catatonia. As an adolescent, he discovers a natural knack for pinball and becomes an international pinball superstar. The musical features rock hits including “I’m Free,” “See Me, Feel Me,” and “Pinball Wizard.”
