
The Straz Center for the Performing Arts (Tampa, FL) has announced the 2021-2022 Bank of America Broadway at The Straz season, sponsored in part by the Tampa Bay Times.
The slate includes Tootsie, Cats, Summer: The Donna Summer Musical, The Prom, Disney’s Frozen, My Fair Lady, Pretty Woman: The Musical and the 2018 Tony Award® winner for Best Musical The Band’s Visit.
“It’s been a long intermission, but we are excited for the return of touring Broadway to Tampa,” says Straz Center President and CEO Judy Lisi. “We’ve put together a remarkable season that includes a couple of welcome surprises along with a few shows that were postponed from early 2020 due to the pandemic and a number of shows originally announced for the 2020-2021 slate. It’s a season of blockbusters, audience favorites, award winners and classics … this line-up truly is the best of Broadway.”
Current Bank of America Broadway at The Straz season ticket holders will receive renewal invoices the week of April 19 and must renew by May 28 to guarantee their seats. Patrons also can sign up now to become new season ticket holders. Prices for the eight-show season package range from $215 to $739.05.
