DARILYN BURTLEY (Tina Turner). Darilyn Burtley (she/her) is a Chicago-born actor and vocalist whose career spans theatre, television, and concert stages. She has appeared with StarKid Productions in VHS Christmas Carol, starred in Lyric Opera of Chicago’s The Light in the Piazza and Jesus Christ Superstar, performed in Holiday Inn at Drury Lane, Song of Paradise at Chicago Shakespeare Theater, and multiple productions with Porchlight Music Theatre. On screen, Darilyn has co-starred in “Chicago P.D.” and “The Chi,” and she has toured internationally as a Featured Singer with Norwegian Cruise Line. Deeply connected to her musical roots, she credits the Chicago music scene—from church choirs to the city’s gospel and blues traditions—for shaping her voice and grounding her in the same soulful lineage that inspired Tina Turner. Darilyn sends endless thanks to her agents, the casting team, her loved ones, and her home stage co-star, Fantine Rizzo The Cat. With gratitude to her mom, and I knowing Darryl Lynn Burtley is enjoying the show from his box seats in the clouds.
MONTY KANE (Ike Turner, Ronnie Turner) was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts at Cardinal Stritch University. Since then, he’s appeared in various stage productions, commercials, and TV shows (61st Street) in Chicago, IL, including, A Raisin in the Sun as Walter Lee, and Middle Passage as Ngonyama. Monty thanks everyone involved for this opportunity to be a part of such an important production; and a special thanks to YOU all showing support of the arts.
