Broadway San Jose General Manager Gretchen Feyer has announced the six productions that will make up the company’s 2022/23 season.
“Over the past two years, we have been reminded how essential the arts are to our community,” said Feyer. “It is with great pleasure that we welcome audiences back to San Jose’s Center for the Performing Arts for an electrifying season packed with Broadway blockbusters, returning favorites, and other can’t-miss hits.”
The season kicks off with the triumphant return of the Broadway blockbuster, Disney’s The Lion King; the all-new tour of the beloved family-favorite musical, Annie; Lincoln Center Theater’s Tony Award®–nominated production of Lerner & Loewe’s My Fair Lady; the romantic musical comedy, Pretty Woman: The Musical; the irreverent musical comedy, Beetlejuice (August 1–6, 2023); and the electrifying new musical, Tina – The Tina Turner Musical.
The 2022/23 season also includes three add-on productions, including Andrew Lloyd Webber’s iconic musical, Cats; the Tony Award® and Grammy Award®–winning musical, Beautiful – The Carole King Musical; and the nine-time Tony Award®–winning Best Musical, The Book of Mormon.
