Broadway in Tucson (Tucson, AZ) celebrates its 18th season bringing Broadway’s best shows to Southern Arizona with five exciting shows and one blockbuster return engagement coming in 2022/2023 at Centennial Hall.
This epic season kicks off in September with the landmark, Tony Award-winning Best Musical event, Disney’s The Lion King. After 16 years, the Pride returns to Tucson for a limited two-week engagement. The pop musical sensation, Six, tells the story of the six wives of Henry VIII mixed with 21st century girl power. This new original musical launches its first national tour this fall. The new year brings back a beloved classic perfect for the whole family, Annie. The sun will come out tomorrow in a brand-new production of everyone’s favorite redhead. From Academy Award-winner Aaron Sorkin, comes a new adaptation of To Kill A Mockingbird. This riveting play breathes new life into this seminal classic. The smash hit musical that took Broadway by storm makes its Tucson premiere this February, Dear Evan Hansen. Winner of six Tony awards including Best Musical, reminds audiences everywhere, you will be found. The season ends with a musical so fetch, you can’t sit with us. Based on the hit film, Mean Girls, comes to Tucson featuring a book by Tina Fey and an award-winning creative team
Current season ticket holders can renew their packages now. New packages go on sale, Monday, March 14. Package prices differ depending on the number of shows, day of week and seating section selected and range in price from $248 – $707. Season ticket holders save from regular ticket prices, get priority seating and can exchange their tickets in the event of a scheduling conflict.
Savings vary by performance and seating section: with “Super-Saver Tuesday,” the opening night performance, patrons save up to 35% off regular ticket prices. Students (ages 18 and under or anyone with a student ID) get special discounts on seating in sections B, C & D for most performances. Also, an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreted season ticket package is available for patrons who are deaf or hard of hearing, with seating in the reserved ASL section. The Sunday evening performances will feature open-captioning with reserved seating.
