As venues continue to reshape their 2020/2021 seasons, BroadwaySF (San Francisco, CA) has announced a major shake-up to shift their current lineup of shows to the 2021/2022 season.
While almost all of shows from original announcement remain, new dates have been assigned to some of those shows. The seven-show season lineup is now as follows:
|Oklahoma!||July 6 – August 1, 2021 *|
|To Kill A Mockingbird||August 24 – September 19, 2021|
|The Prom||September 21 – October 17, 2021|
|Ain’t Too Proud||October 12 – November 7, 2021 *|
|Moulin Rouge! The Musical||TBA Fall 2021 *|
|Hadestown||June 7 – July 3, 2022 *|
The seventh show, currently TBA, is replacing The Cher Show, which could not be rescheduled due to scheduling conflicts. Sources are indicating that the currently-postponed bio-musical tour may be scrapped altogether, although producers have not publicly stated as such.
A possibility for the seventh show opening may be Disney’s Frozen, which was originally scheduled to play during the 20/21 season, but, due to scheduling conflicts, was then was rescheduled to the 21/22 season back when the 20/21 season was announced.
In addition, BroadwaySF is also presenting the newly-rescheduled shows from their 2019/2020 season, including:
|The Band’s Visit||April 27 – May 23, 2021|
|Mean Girls||July 27 – August 22, 2021|
|My Fair Lady||November 3-28, 2021|
Specific venues for each show will be announced at a later date.
