Improvements include completely refurbished heating, ventilation and air conditioning, new mechanical and electrical systems, 1,904 new seats, new carpeting, new LED lighting throughout, additional aisle lighting, improved wi-fi connectivity and more.
Hershey Theatre first opened in 1933 as part of Milton S. Hershey’s “Great Building Campaign” of the Great Depression, which also produced other iconic Hershey landmarks like The Hotel Hershey, Hersheypark Arena and Hersheypark Stadium.
Located in downtown Hershey, Pa., the theatre has become the area’s premier performing arts center, presenting the finest in touring Broadway shows, intimate concerts, classical music and dance attractions, comedy shows and world-renowned entertainers.
