In partnership with Nederlander and Professional Facilities Management (PFM), the Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts proudly announces the First Bank Broadway 2026-27 Season.

With a nod to Wicked, Tanger Center welcomes the Triad to “Defy Gravity” for the new season that includes seven direct-from-New York productions, including the 2025 Tony Award winning Best Musical Maybe Happy Ending.

“We ‘couldn’t be happier’ to bring another season of Broadway to Tanger Center,” said Nick Scandalios, Chief Operating Officer of the Nederlander Organization. “This ‘Gravity Defying’ season is packed with new direct-from-Broadway shows. We hope Triad patrons are as thrilled by this season as we have been by their support these last few years!”

“As we celebrate our sixth Broadway season at Tanger Center, we’re proud of the incredible success we’ve built over the past five years,” said Scott Johnson, Oak View Group General Manager of Greensboro Complex and Tanger Center. “Greensboro continues to stand out as a leading destination for touring Broadway, and the First Bank Broadway, 2026–27 Season reflects the commitments of the Tanger Center and our Broadway partners to deliver world-class productions and unforgettable experiences to our community.”

“We are proud to bring Broadway to Greensboro and the entire Triad region for a fifth straight season,” said Adam Currie, CEO & President of First Bank. “When we decided to partner with the Tanger Center five years ago on the bold idea to help present Broadway to Greensboro, I don’t think any of us could have imagined what a treasured tradition it would become. It is an honor for First Bank to be a part of such a gravity-defying series of shows and experiences this coming season.”
