The producers of the North American Tour of the globally beloved musical sensation, Kinky Boots, are thrilled to announce the lead casting.
Justin Woody (drag superstar “Onya Nurve”) will take on the role of Lola, and Noah Silverman will play Charlie Price; additional casting will be released at a later date. The tour kicks off on November 19, 2025, in Elmira, NY and will continue across North America, making stops in cities including Boston, Hartford, Dallas, and Charlotte. Based on true events, Kinky Boots follows the journey of two people with nothing in common… or so they think. Charlie Price reluctantly inherits his father’s shoe factory, which is on the verge of bankruptcy. Trying to live up to his father’s legacy and save his family business, Charlie finds inspiration in the form of Lola, a fabulous entertainer in need of some sturdy stilettos. As Charlie and Lola work together to turn the factory around, this unlikely pair finds that they have more in common than they realized and discover that you change the world when you change your mind.

JUSTIN WOODY “ONYA NURVE” (Lola) is America’s new drag superstar! Freshly crowned the winner of Season 17 of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Nurve now laces up the big, red, shiny boots for her next act. She steps into the role of Lola with a zest and vibrancy that supercharges the stage and fans alike. An Ohio native, Nurve (as Justin Woody) has more than 20 theatrical credits and holds a BFA in painting from the Cleveland Institute of Art.
NOAH SILVERMAN (Charlie Price) is honored to be touring across North America telling this fun and important story!
