
As more venues look to the new year to begin their Broadway seasons, Proctors Theatre (Schenectady, NY) has announced that their fall Broadway shows will be postponed.
One of the last major venues to make changes to its fall round of shows, Proctors has made the decision to postpone its lineup for the fall, including:
- Hadestown — October 13-18, 2020
- My Fair Lady — November 11-15, 2020
- Pretty Woman: The Musical — December 2-6, 2020
- To Kill A Mockingbird — December 29, 2020 – January 3, 2021
In addition, the venue had previously postponed performances of Come From Away (September 8-13, 2020).
As each of these shows have been postponed, hopes are that new dates will be found for each, including the recent Tony Award-winning Hadestown, which had been scheduled to launch from Proctors. Recent scheduling changes show that the production will begin out west in early 2021.
Currently, the venue will begin its season in February 2021 with performances of Mean Girls. The remainder of their 20/21 season, as well as the rescheduled performances from the 19/20 season, comprise to make the following schedule:
