
As we continue to navigate the challenges of scheduling touring Broadway during this unprecedented time, Broadway Across Canada has made the decision to postpone the upcoming season to begin in early 2021.
Ottawa, ON
Performances at the National Arts Centre will now begin in April 2021 with the previously-scheduled performances of Dear Evan Hansen. The two main changes associated with their season are the cancellation of Fiddler on the Roof and the rescheduling of Anastasia.
The season is now as follows:

In addition, the organization has announced rescheduled dates for performances of Hamilton. The show will now take place from January 4-23, 2022, following the rescheduled engagement in Buffalo, NY (December 14, 2021–January 2, 2022).
All ticket holders will receive email communication from their point of purchase with follow up information on their tickets which remain valid for the new engagement dates. Subscribers will receive an automatic refund for their Fiddler on the Roof tickets in lieu of the cancellation.

Performances at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium will begin next January with the engagement of Anastasia, a dazzling show that will transport you from the twilight of the Russian Empire to the euphoria of Paris in the 1920s. Next up is our season option Come From Away, a Best Musical winner all across North America. The Summer of 2021 will include performances of Hamilton, the story of America’s Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and was the new nation’s first Treasury Secretary. Ending the season will be Jesus Christ Superstar, which has been rescheduled to November 2021.

Lastly, the Queen Elizabeth Theatre made a slight change to their season, in that Jesus Christ Superstar will now take place from October 27-31, 2021. The remainder of their season remains unchanged.
