Durham Performing Arts Center Announces Its 2020/2021 Broadway Season

Direct from New York, Nederlander presents SunTrust Broadway’s, 2020 / 2021 Season at the Durham Performing Arts Center (DPAC).

Touted as being SunTrust Broadway’s biggest season ever, DPAC will present two electrifying weeks of the smash hit Ain’t Too Proud – The Life and Times of the Temptations and the premiere of Tony® Award Winning Musical – Hadestown, plus six more remarkable productions direct from New York.

“This upcoming season is undeniably our biggest yet for SunTrust Broadway at DPAC,” said Rachel Traversari, DPAC’s Senior Director of Marketing. “Each production represents the best of Broadway, and we cannot wait for guests to experience the unforgettable stories portrayed within each of these critically acclaimed shows.”

SunTrust Broadway’s new season includes:
Ain’t Too Proud – The Life and Times of the Temptations (September 1-13, 2020)
Tootsie (November 3-8, 2020)
Hadestown (November 17-22, 2020)
1776 (December 1-6, 2020)
Pretty Woman: The Musical (February 23-28, 2021)
To Kill A Mockingbird (March 16-21, 2021)
Oklahoma! (April 20-25, 2021)
The Cher Show (June 1-6, 2021)
In addition, SunTrust Broadway Season Seat Members will have the opportunity to add Wicked to their 2020 / 2021 season seat package. Wicked will be on stage at DPAC September 30 – October 25, 2020. The public on-sale for Wicked will be announced at a later date.
The upcoming season will also feature the return of Hamilton (dates TBA).

Season tickets for SunTrust Broadway’s, 2020 / 2021 season are currently available only to current Season Seat Members. Current members will have until May 1, 2020 to renew their memberships. Season ticket packages for new members will go on sale in early June.

Tickets to each of the individual shows that are part of SunTrust Broadway at DPAC go on sale later this year.
