New Platform ‘Stage Door Pass’ Available July 31

The revolutionary new platform Stage Door Pass®, which allows theatre fans to track their shows and engage with their favorite artists, will be made available to the general public on July 31st.

Revolutionizing the way theatre fans engage with the shows and the artists they love, this platform is the only space where fans can track every show they see, and track who they have seen in the show. It also allows fans to engage with their favorite theatre artists – and it’s all free to use.

Created in collaboration between Business Operational Expert/Broadway super-fan, Mike Wheeler and Theatre Director/Business Owner Jeff Whiting, who has already introduced many successful business solutions to the theatre industry (Stage Write Software, BWAY Printing, Open Jar Studios) the platform is already being used by every current Broadway and Off-Broadway show, featuring actors, creatives, and production teams.

For the first time, theatre fans will be able to track and rate the shows they see and engage with their favorite members of the production all in one place.

“There are other tools out there to track shows,” says Mike Wheeler, co-Creator, “I wanted more. I wanted to track who I saw, including alternates, and what other roles I have seen them in. I wanted to be able to thank them for their performance even if neither of us make it to the stage door. I can now document these memories, including my pictures, ticket stubs, and Playbills along with my interactions with the performers all in one easy to use platform. I’ll continue to collect and treasure my Playbills and ticket stubs and thank the performers at the stage door every chance I get, but I can finally retire my spreadsheet.”

Accessibility and Inclusion at Its Core as part of its mission to make theatre more accessible and engaging, the Stage Door Foundation has ensured that the platform is free to use, opening its doors to audiences from all walks of life. Nicole Johnson and the team at Harriet Tubman Effect have been closely involved in the design and development, working to ensure the technology supports our entire community.

Whether you’re a Broadway regular or attending your first show, STAGE DOOR PASS brings the theatre world to your fingertips.
