Due to the ongoing situation at the Hard Rock Hotel, all remaining performances of Wicked, from Oct. 12-20 in New Orleans, have been cancelled.
Per the Saenger Theatre: All ticket holders will be refunded through their original point of purchase. For all tickets purchased through Ticketmaster (either online or via phone), refunds will be given automatically.
If you purchased tickets in person at the Saenger Theatre box office, please return to the Mahalia Jackson Theater box office (1419 Basin St., New Orleans, LA 70116).
The box office hours are 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. CST, Monday – Friday, until the Saenger Theatre box office is able to re-open.
Early this past Saturday, the top floors of the 18-story, half-built Hard Rock Hotel collapsed into ruins, dumping tons of debris and knocking over a construction crane. As of the publication of this article, two people have been confirmed dead and one is missing. The Saenger Theater lies in the same block as the hotel.
Wicked was in its final week of a three-week engagement in New Orleans. Should an effort be made to re-schedule the remaining shows, we will keep you updated.
